Faculty of Education student

On November 9, eager teacher candidates attended Building Futures, a series of professional development workshops to help our students develop key characteristics and become better teachers. Guests from various areas of educational spoke to our students and gave them useful advice for their futures.

Daniel Chon-En Lee, a first-year teacher education candidate, very much enjoyed the workshops, in particular Doug Tateishi’s, “Parental Trust-building.” For Daniel, Tateishi, like the other guest speakers, brought in new and “fresh perspectives” that will very much help our students succeed in their future careers.
