On May 3, 2016, three student-teachers from uOttawa’s Toronto campus completed a collaborative project between Formation à l’enseignement (their Francophone teacher training program), École St-Michel (an elementary school within Ontario’s south-central French catholic school district) and the TacTIC group from the Franco-Ontarian teaching resource centre, CFORP. The project began on February 19 when the student-teachers had the opportunity to observe a teacher and her pupils during a lesson that incorporated technology. The second stage of the project saw the student-teachers plan various participative teaching scenarios that integrated digital technology. The Toronto campus student-teachers then co-planned a lesson with two St-Michel teachers and observed the lesson in each class, giving them a chance to watch and interact with the children.

The three student-teachers (Clarisse Temgoua, Estelle Losa and Lilliane Alledji) had this to say about their experience of the project.
