Wesley Miles is a typical Grade 11 student with a challenge. He is struggling with his math. His teacher indicates that he participates actively in class, asks good questions, but perhaps does not spend enough time reviewing and practicing the concepts they cover each day - something called "homework". So we, his grandparents, along with Wesley are looking for a tutor to go over the math problems and concepts covered in the typical Grade 11 math curriculum (Functions) on a regular basis - preferable twice a week to begin with - and help him nail them for his final exam in January. He's fun to work with and catches on fast. He needs a structure for practice and someone sharp to ask the right questions and guide the work. Tutoring sessions would preferably be held between 7:00 - 8:00 PM but could be scheduled for convenience of both Wes and the tutor. Pay is $35. / hour with bonus of 25% if Wesley achieves a grade of 80% or more on final exam.
