School District No. 38 Richmond SECONDARY FRENCH TEACHER
Located at the mouth of the Fraser River, Richmond is an island city that offers residents many opportunities. Popular attractions include the quaint village of Steveston and a large and vibrant Chinatown. We are home to the Vancouver International Airport and the beautiful Richmond Olympic Oval facilities. School District No. 38 (Richmond) is seeking a part-time secondary core French teacher for a temporary appointment effective immediately to June 30th/19. The teaching load for this assignment consists of 2 blocks of French 8, 1 block of French 12 and 1 block of ELL Level 1. All four classes are scheduled for Day 2.
Candidates will have a demonstrated ability to adapt learning experiences and engage with students from diverse backgrounds with a wide variety of learning needs and styles. Candidates will also have a passion for bring language learning to life for all students. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills and a willingness to work with colleagues in the Modern Language and ELL departments are required.
