Theara Yim

The Canadian Association of the Deaf estimates that close to 3.5 million Canadians are deaf, deafened or hard of hearing. Theara Yim, a deaf person, teacher and alumni of the University of Ottawa (MEd '14), has been an inspiration to all who meet him.

A passionate educator, Yim has taught in Ontario and, since 2011, in Québec, where he has been a teacher at the Université de Montréal’s school of speech language pathology and audiology.
