St-Augustine School in Rivière-Saint-Augustin, Québec

The Commission scolaire du Littoral is located along the Lower North Shore of the Gulf of St. Lawrence in the province of Québec. Its territory extends over a distance of 460 km, from Kegaska to Lourdes-de-Blanc-Sablon, including Port-Menier on Anticosti Island.

It provides services to 9 Anglophone villages and 4 Francophone villages, with respective populations between 100 and 1,000. Its school clientele is approximately 450 students and it employs around 190 people.

It offers general education to the Youth Sector at pre-school, primary, and secondary levels. For the Adult Sector, literacy and general education are offered, as well as vocational programs (by agreements with other school boards).

The teacher shall provide learning and developmental activities to students and shall participate in the development of student life in the school.

 Completed Bachelor of Education, 
 Legally qualified to teach in Québec or another province. 
 Language of work: English.

STARING DATE: As soon as possible.

Salary according the collective agreement, between $40,578 and $78,992 per year.
Eligibility to the tax credit for recent graduates working in remote resources regions.
Eligibility to the tax deduction for residents of designated remote areas.
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package including an isolation premium between $8,155 and $13,046 per year, a furnished, low-rent apartment with electricity costs included, as well as a refund of three annual outings per year from your place of assignment to your original point of departure for you and your dependents.
