These settings include minority language education, childhood, teacher education, immigration, citizenship and globalism in a digitalized world. She has taken up several administrative positions within the Faculty of Education (Ottawa). She has received research grants from Social sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada and has been a visiting professor in Australia and Sweden.
